All abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the online platform before April, 21th 2022 at 23.59 (CET time).

IMPORTANT: Note that every author may submit and appear as co-author in several abstracts but ONLY WILL BE ABLE TO PRESENT TWO ABSTRACTS.
Presenting authors whose abstract have been accepted must register for the Congress. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the Congress Programme.
Authors are requested to indicate their preference for ORAL or POSTER presentation. However, the final status will be decided by the Scientific Committee.
Abstract title: Do not use capital letters and do not indent. The title should reflect the contents and should not exceed 150 characters (15 words).

Authors are requested to submit

Please make sure you check your abstract carefully before sending it. No modifications will be made after submission’s deadline.
References: Unpublished results are not recommended in the reference list but may be mentioned in the text. Personal communications are not allowed in the reference list, but may be mentioned in the text where the name and brief address of the person must also be supplied. Citation of a reference as "in press" implies that the item has been accepted for publication.
Web references: As a minimum, the full URL should be given. Any further information, if known (DOI, author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Web references can be listed separately (e.g., after the reference list) under a different heading if desired, or can be included in the reference list.
Author names and affiliations: Where the family name may be ambiguous (e.g., a double name), please indicate this clearly. Institution, department and location are requested from all authors.
Authors' affiliation should include the addresses (where the actual work was done).
Contact person: Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication (and post-publication).
Contact Information: Ensure the information provided is correct and make sure contact details (phone number and email) are right for the contact person / presenting author.
Abstracts submitted for oral or poster presentation will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. Once an abstract is accepted, the Committee will decide whether it is to be presented as an oral or as a poster.
Oral presentations: Oral contributions will be 15 minutes long including 3 minutes discussion, whereas invited presentations will be 30 minutes long including 5 minutes discussion. Speakers
cannot use their laptop. Please present yourself to the session chair at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the session to upload your presentation to the conference room PC in a USB Key.
Poster presentations
Posters must be
70 cm x 120 cm, vertical orientation. Presenters must provide their own printout of the poster, including title and authors. Session codes will be displayed on the session boards. Material for hanging posters will be available.
Please hang your poster during the day and remove it at the end of the session.
Publication:
Each registered participant in the EMSA 2022 whose abstract is presented at the Conference may submit the respective full manuscript to IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. The submitted manuscripts will undergo the regular peer-review process, according to the journal’s standards. The Authors will have to follow the Journal guidelines and download the relevant templates from the journal’s site. Accepted manuscripts must be at least 4 printed pages, or at least 6 pages for manuscripts of invited authors.
Manuscript submission:
Manuscripts will be submitted directly to the journal by the authors from June 1st till June 22nd, 2022.
Please do not attempt to submit your manuscript before June 1st and do not submit it to the EMSA 2022 site.
